Ingredients list for Falafel Wrap-SK Khazana
- 1 1/2 cups Chickpeas (kabuli chana) soaked for 8 hours
- 4 Tortillas roasted
- 8-10 Garlic cloves
- 2 tablespo for garnish Fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 Medium onion finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cumin powder
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- to deep fry Oil
- 4 tablespo as required Aioli
- as required Lollo rosso leaves
- as required Iceberg lettuce leaves
- as required Carrot strips
- as required Beetroot strips
- as required Pickled jalapeno slices
- as required French fries
Method
- Grind together chickpeas, garlic, parsley, onion, cumin powder, salt and crushed peppercorns to a coarse mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a bowl, divide into equal portions and shape into balls.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry prepared falafels till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Spread 1 tablespoon aioli on each tortilla. Top with some lollo rosso lettuce, Iceberg lettuce and 3 falafels. Crush the falafels slightly.
- Top with some carrot strips, beetroot strips, 3-4 jalapeno slices, some more aioli and some French fries. Wrap tightly.
- Halve, garnish with some parsley and serve immediately with French fries.
