Ingredients list for Eggless Mithai Cake
- Sweet Mathura peda
- 6 Badam burfi
- 1 tin Sweet condense milk (400 grams)
- 240 gms + to grease Butter
- 320 grams Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda (soda bicarbonate)
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla essence
- 150 millilitres Buttermilk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C. Lightly grease a round baking tin.
- Break Mathura peda and badam burfi and put into a bowl. Add condensed milk and mix with a hand blender.
- Add butter and blend till well mixed.
- Sieve refined flour with baking powder, baking soda into the bowl and mix well. Add vanilla essence and buttermilk and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking tin, tap gently on the table to level the surface.
- Keep the tin in the preheated oven and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
- Cool slightly, demould, cut into slices and serve.
