This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Green chillies, Sweet corn Cuisine Uttar Pradesh Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Dum Mirch Makai 16-20 Green chillies 1 cup Sweet corn tinned 4 tablespoons Oil to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoons Cumin seeds 2 medium Onions finely chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic minced 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 2 tablespoons Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 cup Tomato puree 1 teaspoon Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) 2 tablespoons Cream 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder Method Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non stick pan. Slit the chillies slightly, without cutting through, and add to the pan. Add salt and mix. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Transfer into a plate and set aside. Add the remaining oil to the same pan. Add cumin seeds, onions and saute till onions become soft. Add garlic and saute. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Add tomato puree and mix. Add corn, dried fenugreek leaves, salt, cooked chillies and mix well. Add cream and garam masala powder and mix. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Serve hot.
