Ingredients list for Dhal powder

  • 1 cup Split bengal gram
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 6 Dry red chilies
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • a few Curry leaves
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add chana dal, red chillies, garlic and curry leaves and saute for few minutes.
  2. Remove and set aside to cool.
  3. Grind the mixture with salt to a fine powder. Store the powder in airtight containers
  4. Serve with steamed rice.
