Ingredients list for Cucumber Dip With Pita Bread

  • 2 Pita bread
  • 400 grams Yogurt
  • 2 medium Cucumbers peeled and grated
  • 2 teaspoon Mayonnaise
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon Green chilli minced


  1. Tie up yogurt in the muslin cloth for an hour, preferably in the refrigerator.
  2. Gently squeeze grated cucumber to extract some juice. Whisk hung yogurt to remove lumps.
  3. Add mayonnaise, salt, sugar, mustard powder and minced green chilli. Mix in the grated cucumbers.
  4. Place in refrigerator to chill well. Cut pita breads lengthwise into finger sized pieces at least one inch wide. Serve with chilled cucumber dip.
