  • 4 Boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 White bread slices
  • 3/4 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika powder
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorn
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Refined flour
  • a few Fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 Egg white
  • as required Dried breadcrumbs
  • for basting Butter
  • as required Lettuce leaves
  • for drizzling Mayonnaise
  • as required Tomato slices
  • to serve Salad
  • to serve Chips
  • to serve Periperi sauce


  1. Cut the chicken into thin horizontal slices and transfer into a large bowl. Add onion powder, paprika, crushed black peppercorns, garlic paste, salt, refined flour,
    thyme leaves and egg white and mix well.
  2. Take dried breadcrumbs on a plate and roll the chicken in it and set aside.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the chicken pieces, a few at a time, and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Trim the edges of bread slices and apply butter on both the slices. Place a few lettuce leaves and 3-4 fried chicken pieces and drizzle mayonnaise on top.
  5. Place a few tomato slices and sprinkle salt and crushed black peppercorns on top. Cover with another slice of bread with the butter side facing down.
  6. Serve immediately with salad, chips and periperi sauce.
