Ingredients list for Crispy Chicken-Cook Smart
- 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into very thin strips
- to deep fry Oil
- 4 teaspoons Refined flour (maida)
- to taste Salt
- 2 teaspoons Cornflour
- 1 Medium onion
- 1 Medium green capsicum cut into thin strips
- 1 Medium red capsicum cut into thin strips
- 4 Green chillies thinly sliced vertically
- 1 teaspoon Green chilli sauce
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a wok.
- Take chicken strips in a bowl. Add refined flour, salt and cornflour and mix gently with your hand. Make sure that the chicken strips do not stick to one another.
- Deep-fry chicken strips in hot oil till golden and crisp.
- Halve the onion and slice both halves horizontally.
- Take 4 teaspoons oil from the wok and add to another non-stick wok and heat.
- Add onion to the oil in the second wok and saute. Add green and red capsicum strips and saute well.
- Drain the chicken and add to the onion in the other wok. . Add green chillies, green chilli sauce and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Serve hot.
