Ingredients list for Creamy Chicken Casserole
- 450 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 cup Processed cheese grated
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 8-10 Button mushrooms sliced
- 1½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
- ½ cup Chicken stock
- to taste Salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 180ºC.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté well.
- Add chicken, mix and cook for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add mustard, mix well and cook. Add chicken stock and salt, mix and cook till semi-dry.
- Transfer the mixture into a glass baking dish and top with cheese. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Serve hot.
