Ingredients

  • ½ cup split bengal gram (chana dal)
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 5-6 dried red chillies broken,
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. To make chutney, put roasted Bengal gram, garlic, dried red chillies, lemon juice and salt in a blender jar and blend to a smooth paste with sufficient water.
  2. Transfer into a bowl and serve with Mysore masala dosa.
