Ingredients list for Chocolate Caramel Pot

  • 250 grams Dark chocolate chopped
  • ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Fresh cream
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • to sprinkle Sea salt


  1. To prepare custard, heat milk in a non-stick pan. Add ¼ cup cream, ¼ cup castor sugar and cinnamon powder, mix and bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Take egg yolks in a bowl and whisk. Add some milk mixture and whisk well. Add it to the rest of milk mixture in the pan, whisk and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add chocolate, mix and cook till it melts. Transfer into another bowl and whisk.
  4. To prepare caramel sauce, heat remaining castor sugar in another non-stick pan and cook till it caramelizes. Add remaining cream and mix. Add butter, mix and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour the chocolate custard mixture into small individual glass jarsupto¾ full and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes or till set.
  6. Put some caramel sauce and sprinkle some sea salt on top. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  7. Serve.
