By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dark chocolate, Castor sugar (caster sugar) Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chocolate Caramel Pot 250 grams Dark chocolate chopped ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1 cup Milk ½ cup Fresh cream ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder 3 Egg yolks 2 tablespoon Butter to sprinkle Sea salt Method To prepare custard, heat milk in a non-stick pan. Add ¼ cup cream, ¼ cup castor sugar and cinnamon powder, mix and bring the mixture to a boil. Take egg yolks in a bowl and whisk. Add some milk mixture and whisk well. Add it to the rest of milk mixture in the pan, whisk and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add chocolate, mix and cook till it melts. Transfer into another bowl and whisk. To prepare caramel sauce, heat remaining castor sugar in another non-stick pan and cook till it caramelizes. Add remaining cream and mix. Add butter, mix and cook for 1 minute. Pour the chocolate custard mixture into small individual glass jarsupto¾ full and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes or till set. Put some caramel sauce and sprinkle some sea salt on top.
