Chinese Bhel

Ingredients list for Chinese Bhel

  • 2 cups Noodles boiled
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sichuan sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 3-4 Spring onion bulbs sliced
  • for garnishing Spring onion greens 1-2 stalks, diagonally sliced +
  • 2 tablespoons Peanuts roasted, coarsely crushed
  • to taste Salt
  • ¼ cup Bean sprouts

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Deep-fry noodles till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and cool.
  2. Combine crushed fried noodles, Sichuan sauce and tomato ketchup in a bowl and mix. Add spring onion bulbs, spring onion greens, roasted peanuts and salt and mix. Add bean sprouts and mix well.
  3. Serve immediately garnished with spring onion greens.
