Chinese Bhel This Chinese version of one of the most popular street foods – bhel – compares well with the original. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Sep 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Noodles, Oil Cuisine Indo-Chinese Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chinese Bhel 2 cups Noodles boiled for deep-frying Oil 1 tablespoon Sichuan sauce 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup 3-4 Spring onion bulbs sliced for garnishing Spring onion greens 1-2 stalks, diagonally sliced + 2 tablespoons Peanuts roasted, coarsely crushed to taste Salt ¼ cup Bean sprouts Method Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Deep-fry noodles till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and cool. Combine crushed fried noodles, Sichuan sauce and tomato ketchup in a bowl and mix. Add spring onion bulbs, spring onion greens, roasted peanuts and salt and mix. Add bean sprouts and mix well.
