Ingredients for Chilli Milli Ice Cream Recipe

  • Green chillies chopped 4-5

  • Milk 2 1/2 cups

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 1 tablespoon

  • Sugar 4 tablespoons

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon zest 1 teaspoon

  • Khus syrup 2 teaspoons


Step 1

Mix cornflour with a quarter cup milk and keep aside. Boil the remaining milk in a non-stick pan.

Step 2

Add sugar and cornflour mixture and simmer for four to five minutes. Set aside to cool.

Step 3

Add fresh cream, vanilla essence, green chillies, lemon zest and khus syrup and mix well. Pour into a shallow container.

Step 4

Cover and freeze till almost set. Divide the mixture into two portions and blend each portion, separately, in a blender till smooth.

Step 5

Transfer each of the two portions into the shallow container. Cover and freeze till firm. Scoop and serve.
