Ingredients list for Chilli Milli Ice Cream
- 4-5 Green chillies chopped
- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 cup Fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
- 2 teaspoons Khus syrup
Method
- Mix cornflour with a quarter cup milk and keep aside. Boil the remaining milk in a non-stick pan.
- Add sugar and cornflour mixture and simmer for four to five minutes. Set aside to cool.
- Add fresh cream, vanilla essence, green chillies, lemon zest and khus syrup and mix well. Pour into a shallow container.
- Cover and freeze till almost set. Divide the mixture into two portions and blend each portion, separately, in a blender till smooth.
- Transfer each of the two portions into the shallow container. Cover and freeze till firm. Scoop and serve.
