Ingredients list for Chilli Chocolate Cookies
- 300 grams Refined flour (maida)
- 5 grams Baking soda
- a pinch Salt
- 200 grams Butter
- 150 grams Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 100 grams brown sugar/jaggery
- 2 Eggs
- 10 millilitres Vanilla essence
- 300 grams Chocolate chunks
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
Method
- In a large mixing bowl cream butter, castor sugar and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla essence.
- Sift together flour, chilli powder and baking soda and gradually fold it in the sugar mixture.
- Add the chocolate chunks and mix well.
- Divide in equal portions and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile preheat the oven at 190 ° C.
- Bake the cookies for twelve to fifteen minutes.
