Ingredients list for Chilli Chocolate Cookies

  • 300 grams Refined flour (maida)
  • 5 grams Baking soda
  • a pinch Salt
  • 200 grams Butter
  • 150 grams Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 100 grams brown sugar/jaggery
  • 2 Eggs
  • 10 millilitres Vanilla essence
  • 300 grams Chocolate chunks
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika powder


  1. In a large mixing bowl cream butter, castor sugar and brown sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla essence.
  3. Sift together flour, chilli powder and baking soda and gradually fold it in the sugar mixture.
  4. Add the chocolate chunks and mix well.
  5. Divide in equal portions and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile preheat the oven at 190 ° C.
  7. Bake the cookies for twelve to fifteen minutes.
