Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken with Ginger Pineapple Sauce Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken Breasts halved 2

  • Pineapple chopped 1/2 cup

  • Ginger grated 1

  • Pineapple juice 2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • A few saffron strands

  • Oil for grilling

  • Ginger strips for garnishing


Step 1

Mix chicken breasts with salt and pepper powder and set aside to marinate for ten to fifteen minutes.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan, add ginger and roast for a minute. Add pineapple, pineapple juice and saffron, mix well and cook till the moisture reduces slightly.

Step 3

Add salt and black pepper powder and mix well. Switch off heat, cool and grind it to a smooth puree.

Step 4

Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place marinated chicken on it and grill, turning sides, till chicken is cooked and evenly done on both sides.

Step 5

Place grilled chicken on a serving plate and pour prepared sauce over. Garnish with ginger strips and serve immediately.
