Ingredients list for Chicken on Lemongrass Sticks
- 400 grams Chicken mince
- 8 four-inc Lemongrass sticks long
- 5-6 Garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 Red chilli chopped
- 6-8 Fresh coriander stems finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- Put chicken mince, garlic, fresh red chilli, coriander stems, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into eight equal portions. Dampen your palms and press each portion around a lemongrass stick.
- Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the prepared sticks and shallow-fry on medium heat, rotating the sticks, till evenly golden all around and the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
