Ingredients list for Chicken Cheese Potli-SK Khazana
- 150 grams Chicken boiled and shredded
- 3 tablespoons Cheddar cheese grated
- 3 tablespoons Mozzarella cheese grated
- 200 grams Refined flour (maida) dough with carom seeds (ajwain
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 tablespoon Fresh basil leaves shredded
- to taste Salt
- for dusting Refined flour (maida)
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Mix together chicken, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, chilli flakes, crushed peppercorns, basil leaves and salt in a bowl.
- Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough on it and roll out into a large disc.
- Keep a medium sized cookie cutter over the disc and cut out discs.
- Keep some chicken mixture in the centre of each disc, brush the edges with some water, gather the edges together and shape into potlis. Press the edge to seal.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry potlis till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
