By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Eggs , Potatoes Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Cheesy Scotch Eggs 5 Eggs 6 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce to taste Black pepper powder 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons Fresh cream 2 tablespoons Cheese grated to taste Salt to coat Bread crumbs to deep fry Oil Method Boil three cups of water. Gently slide in four eggs and continue to boil for ten minutes. Drain, cool and shell. Take mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add Worcestershire sauce, pepper powder, refined flour, fresh cream, grated cheese and salt and mix into a soft dough. Take a ball of the dough and spread on your palms. Place an egg in the center and cover it on all sides with the dough. Beat the remaining egg well. Dip the prepared Scotch egg in it. Roll it in dried breadcrumbs. Repeat this process once more and gently shape it between two palms to resemble an egg. Similarly prepare the remaining eggs. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan. When it is hot, slowly slide in the prepared eggs. Gently turn them in the hot oil till they are browned to a golden brown on all sides.
