Ingredients list for Caramel Bhapa Doi
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 400 grams Condensed milk sweetened
- ½ cup Caramel Sauce
- 1 cup Milk
- 10-12 Pistachios blanched and slivered
- 6-8 Almonds blanched and slivered
Method
- Put yogurt, condensed milk, caramel sauce and milk in a large bowl and whisk. Strain the mixture into another large bowl.
- Transfer mixture into individual earthen pots and cover with aluminium foil.
- Heat some water in a deep non-stick pan. Place a steamer on top and bring the water to a boil.
- Place earthen pots in the steamer, cover and steam for 10 minutes. Remove the pots from steamer and cool down to room temperature. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Discard the foil and garnish with pistachio slivers and almond slivers.
- Serve chilled.
