Ingredients list for Caramel Bhapa Doi

  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 400 grams Condensed milk sweetened
  • ½ cup Caramel Sauce
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 10-12 Pistachios blanched and slivered
  • 6-8 Almonds blanched and slivered


  1. Put yogurt, condensed milk, caramel sauce and milk in a large bowl and whisk. Strain the mixture into another large bowl.
  2. Transfer mixture into individual earthen pots and cover with aluminium foil.
  3. Heat some water in a deep non-stick pan. Place a steamer on top and bring the water to a boil.
  4. Place earthen pots in the steamer, cover and steam for 10 minutes. Remove the pots from steamer and cool down to room temperature. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  5. Discard the foil and garnish with pistachio slivers and almond slivers.
  6. Serve chilled.
