Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 11-15 minutes

Ingredients for Caprese Chicken Roulade Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breasts cut into butterfly shape 4

  • Mozzarella cheese roundels as required

  • Tomatoes sun dried as required

  • Oil for greasing

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Balsamic vinegar to sprinkle


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.

Step 2

Place each chicken butterfly on worktop. Sprinkle some crushed peppercorns and salt over them.

Step 3

Place mozzarella cheese roundels and sun dried tomatoes alternatively on top on the chicken. Drizzle some balsamic vinegar on top and roll it tightly. Place them on the greased baking tray.

Step 4

Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5

Serve hot.
