Ingredients for Burani Espanaaj Recipe

  • Yogurt 1 1/2 cups

  • Spinach leaves (palak) 25-30

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onions sliced 2 medium

  • Garlic chopped 5-6 cloves

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Shred spinach leaves and then chop finely. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onions and garlic and sauté till lightly browned.

Step 2

Add spinach and mix and sauté. Add salt, pepper powder and cook till dry. Set aside in a bowl in the refrigerator to cool completely. Keep aside a little spinach for garnish and add yogurt to the rest and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with reserved spinach and serve chilled.
