Ingredients list for Bread and Butter Pudding
- 12 Bread Slices
- 1 cup Butter
- 250 millilitres Cream
- 1 Egg yolk
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup White chocolate
- as required Raisins
- as required Nuts
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180° C. Heat plenty of water in a deep non-stick pan.
- Whisk cream and egg yolk in a bowl, add eggs and mix well.Add milk and mix well.
- Keep the bowl over the hot water, add sugar and whisk continuously. When the custard thickens remove it from the double boiler.
- Add white chocolate and whisk. Add butter and whisk well. Cut bread slices into four pieces and arrange them in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle raisins and nuts on it.Spread the custard on the bread slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
