Ingredients list for Bombay Veg Sandwich
- 8 Bread slices
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cup Coriander and mint chutney
- 2 medium Onions cut into roundels
- 1 Cucumber cut into roundels
- 2 medium Tomatoes cut into roundels
- 2 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed
Method
- Trim the sides of the bread slices, apply butter and coriander and mint chutney. On a flat board, arrange four bread slices with chutney spread, layer it with onion, cucumber, tomato roundels and potato slices.
- Sprinkle some chaat masala, salt and crushed peppercorns. Cover each of them with another slice of bread and press lightly.
- Cut each sandwich into six equal portions and serve it with tomato ketchup.
