By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 Sep 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Crushed black peppercorns, Milk Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Black Pepper Malpua 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns 1 1/2 cup Milk thickened 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon Semolina (rawa/suji) 1 tablespoon Khoya/mawa grated to deep fry Ghee Saffron flavoured sugar syrup of one string consistency Method In a bowl mix together thickened milk, refined flour, semolina, khoya and crushed black peppercorns and whisk well. Heat ghee in a non stick pan. Drop ladleful of the batter into the ghee and fry, turning sides, till golden brown. Drain and dip in the sugar syrup. Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
