Ingredients list for Black Grape Sherbet
- 4 cups Black grape juice
- 3/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf)
- 3 teaspoons Black salt (kala namak)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Tamarind pulp
- as required Crushed ice
- for garnish Black grapes
- for garnish Green grapes
Method
- Dry roast cumin seeds, carom seeds and fennel seeds and grind with black salt to a fine powder.
- Pour the grape juice into a jug;, add the ground spices and tamarind pulp. Mix well.
- Add crushed ice and mix well. Pour into Old-Fashioned glasses and garnish with grapes.
