By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Milk powder, Cornflour Cuisine Maharashtrian,Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Basundi Pre-Mix - SK Khazana 3 cups Milk powder 6 tablespoons Cornflour 1 cup Powdered sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons Green cardamom powder for garnish Saffron ,a large pinch of + for garnish Pistachios chopped 3 tablespoons + for garnish Almonds chopped 3 tablespoons + tablespoons Chironji Method Take milk powder, corn flour, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder, saffron, pistachios, almonds and charoli in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container for upto 21 days. To make the basundi, heat a deep non-stick pan, add 1 cup of this mixture and 2 cups water and whisk well. When the mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and boil whisking continuously till the mixture thickens. Transfer into serving bowls, garnish with almonds, pistachios and saffron.
