Ingredients list for Basic Mukhwas

  • 1/4 cup Fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1/4 cup White sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Dhania dal
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

Method

  1. Take some water in a bowl. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well.
  2. Add some salt-turmeric water to dhania dal, fennel seeds and sesame seeds and mix well. Set aside till water gets soaked.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan, add dhania dal and roast till fragrant and crunchy. Transfer into a bowl and cool. Similarly dry roast sesame seeds and fennel seeds separately and mix all the ingredients well.
  4. Store in an airtight container.
