Ingredients list for Banana and Walnut Loaf
- 2 cups Bananas puree
- ¾ cup Walnuts finely chopped
- 2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- ¾ cup brown sugar/jaggery
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 100 millilitres Oil
Method
- Preheat oven to180°C.
- Sift together refined flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
- Add walnuts and mix well.
- Break eggs into another bowl. Add sugar and beat well with an electric beater.
- Add vanilla essence and beat again. Add banana puree and beat again.
- Fold in flour mixture and beat till well blended. Add oil and beat once again.
- Pour batter in a silicon mould filling it till ¾ full, tap and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove from oven, cool and demould. Slice and serve.
