Ingredients list for Banana Puri

  • 3 Banana
  • 1 3/4 cups Refined flour
  • 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • a pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • for deep-frying Oil

Method

  1. Mash bananas. Add refined flour, wheat flour, sugar, salt and butter. Mix well together. Add a little water and knead into a stiff dough.
  2. Divide into ten to twelve balls. Roll out into small dics of half centimeter thickness. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Fry puris, one by one, till golden brown. Drain and remove onto an absorbent paper.
