Ingredients list for Baked Cheesecake
- 10-12 Arrowroot Biscuits crushed
- Cottage Cheese
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 300 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
- 300 grams Cream cheese
- 3 Eggs
- 200 grams Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 150 grams Fresh cream
Method
- Grease a springform pan lightly with a little butter.
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F. Melt butter in the microwave oven and add to the crushed biscuits kept in a bowl. Mix well and put into the prepared pan.
- Spread evenly and press lightly to make the base for the cheesecake. Keep the pan in a refrigerator for a while.
- Put the cream cheese in a mixer jar. Add cream and blender for a minute or two. Add vanilla essence and blend for ½ minute.
- Break eggs into a bowl, add sugar and whisk well. Add to the cream cheese in the mixer jar and blend till well blended. Pour the mixture into a bowl. Grate the paneer into the mixture and mix.
- Squeeze juice of a lemon, add and mix. Remove the springform pan from the fridge, pour the cream cheese mixture over the biscuit layer and bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
- Remove it from the oven and set aside to cool. Demould, cut into wedges and serve.
