Ingredients list for Arroz Blanco

  • 1/2 cup Chicken mince
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cups Chicken stock
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed white peppercorns

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until onions are tender. Add rice and chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add chicken mince, salt and crushed peppercorns and stir.
  2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for fifteen minutes or until rice is well cooked and all the liquid is absorbed.
