Ingredients list for Apple and Oats Pancake
- 1 cup Apple peeled and finely chopped
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 3½ cups Apple juice
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 4 tablespoon Oil
- 4tbsps + f Butter
- for garnishing Honey
- for dusting Icing sugar
- for dusting Chocolate powder
Method
- Put oats in a bowl and add apple juice. Break egg into it and mix well. Add sugar, cinnamon powder and apples and whisk well.
- Add refined flour and wheat flour and whisk to make a smooth batter. Set aside.
- To make each pancake, heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbspbutter in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread to a round shape.Cook till the underside is golden brown. Flip and cook again till the other side is done.
- Arrange the pancakes on a serving platter, garnish with butter and honey. Dust icing sugar and chocolate powder on top and serve immediately.
