Break egg in another bowl and beat well. Add milk and beat further. Add egg-milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix well into a smooth batter. Add apple and mix well. Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a non-stick pan. Pour ladleful of batter in it and spread into individual little pancakes. Cook till both sides are evenly done. To make butter-maple syrup, heat remaining butter in another non-stick pan. Add maple syrup and cook for a minute, stirring continuously. Bring to boil.
