Ingredients list for Apple Pancake with Butter Maple Syrup

  • 2 Apples grated
  • 1½ cups Self raising flour
  • 3-4 tablespoons Butter
  • ½ cup Maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Milk

Method

  1. Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Break egg in another bowl and beat well. Add milk and beat further.
  3. Add egg-milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix well into a smooth batter. Add apple and mix well.
  4. Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a non-stick pan. Pour ladleful of batter in it and spread into individual little pancakes. Cook till both sides are evenly done.
  5. To make butter-maple syrup, heat remaining butter in another non-stick pan. Add maple syrup and cook for a minute, stirring continuously. Bring to boil.
  6. Place pancakes on a serving plate, pour the butter-maple syrup over and serve garnished with an apple fan.
