Ingredients list for Apple Pancake with Butter Maple Syrup
- 2 Apples grated
- 1½ cups Self raising flour
- 3-4 tablespoons Butter
- ½ cup Maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Milk
Method
- Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Break egg in another bowl and beat well. Add milk and beat further.
- Add egg-milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix well into a smooth batter. Add apple and mix well.
- Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a non-stick pan. Pour ladleful of batter in it and spread into individual little pancakes. Cook till both sides are evenly done.
- To make butter-maple syrup, heat remaining butter in another non-stick pan. Add maple syrup and cook for a minute, stirring continuously. Bring to boil.
- Place pancakes on a serving plate, pour the butter-maple syrup over and serve garnished with an apple fan.
