Ingredients list for Annanas Ki Boti
- 500 grams Boneless mutton 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 Pineapple 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup Oil
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Green cardamoms
- 2 medium Onions,sliced
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 2 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 cup Yogurt whisked
- 1 teaspoon Muskmelon seed power
- 1 teaspoon Watermelon seed powder
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 2 Green chillies slit
- 2-3 medium Potatoes 1 inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Fry pineapple pieces. Drain and keep aside. To the same oil add cloves, green cardamoms and onions and sauté till light brown in colour. Add mutton, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger paste and garlic paste.
- Sauté till dry. Add a little water, just enough to cover the mutton. Pressure cook for six whistles or till mutton is tender. Add yogurt, muskmelon seed powder, watermelon seed powder, coriander leaves and green chillies and place on low heat, stirring briskly. Add potatoes and pineapple.
- After five minutes add a little water and cook on low heat till potatoes are tender and the gravy thickens. Sprinkle garam masala powder and serve hot.
