Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Tender Chicken Stew With Spinach Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 400 grams

  • Spinach Leaves shredded 8-10

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic chopped 8-10 cloves

  • Mushrooms quartered 8-10

  • Salt to taste

  • Dry oregano 2 teaspoons

  • Chicken stock 3 cups

  • Tomato blanched, peeled and chopped 1 large

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for two minutes.

Step 2

Add mushrooms and salt and sauté for four to five minutes.

Step 3

Add chicken, oregano and sauté on high heat for five minutes.

Step 4

Add two cups of chicken stock and let it come to a boil. Add tomato and cook for two minutes

Step 5

Mix refined flour in the remaining stock and add to the chicken. Mix well, cover and cook for four to five minutes.

Step 6

Add spinach leaves and mix well. Serve hot with garlic bread.
