Remove from heat and add flour, mix and knead to a semi-stiff dough. Divide the dough into equal balls and roll out each ball into a large disc. Cut out diamonds. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide the dough diamonds and deep-fry on medium heat till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and cool.
