Ingredients for Ragi Jaggery Cookies Recipe

  • Ragi flour 3/4 cup

  • Jaggery powder 1/2 cup

  • Cocoa powder 1/4 cup

  • Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon

  • Butter 1/2 cup

  • Milk 2-3 tablespoons

  • Chocolate chips 1-2 tablespoons


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180º C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2

Mix together ragi flour, cocoa powder and baking soda in a bowl.

Step 3

Cream together butter and jaggery powder in another bowl till soft and creamy. Add the flour mixture and fold in. Add milk and mix well.

Step 4

Divide the mixture into small equal portions, shape them into balls and flatten them a little. Arrange them on the tray keeping them 1 inch apart. Place the chocolate chips on top.

Step 5

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Step 6

Arrange the cookies on a serving plate and serve.
