Raghavdas laddu Roasted coconut and sauteed semolina mixed with sugar syrup and raisins and shaped into laddoos By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Semolina, Coconut Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 20 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Raghavdas laddu 2 cups Semolina 1 cup Coconut 1/4 teaspoon Pure ghee 1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 4 tablespoons Raisins Method Heat a non stick pan and roast the coconut on low heat till reddish brown. Keep aside. Heat ghee in the pan and sauté the rawa on low heat till light brown. Take off the heat and add in the fried coconut and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Add the raisins, keeping aside a few to garnish. Cook sugar with one and half cups of water to make a one string consistency syrup. Add the rawa mixture and mix well. Cover and keep aside till the mixture cools a little. Shape into laadoos and decorate each laadoo with a raisin. When completely cooled store.
