Ingredients list for Perfect Phulka-SK Khazana

  • 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour (att)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespo teaspoon Oil
  • for brushi Ghee

Method

  1. Mix together whole wheat flour, salt and oil in a parat, add sufficient water and knead into a soft dough.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon oil and knead again till soft.
  3. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Divide the prepared dough into 12 equal portions and roll into thin discs.
  5. Heat a non-stick tawa and place each roti on it. Roast lightly on both sides, take it off the tawa and place on direct flame till it puffs up. Turn-over and let the other side puff too.
  6. Serve smeared with ghee.
