Ingredients list for Peaches, Cream And Custard Parfait
- 1 large Peaches
- 6 tablespoons Milk
- 1/2 cup Double cream
- 6-8 Almonds
- 2 tablespoons Vanilla Custard powder
- 2 cups Milk
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 litre Vanilla ice cream
Method
- Wash peaches and wipe them dry. Cut them into quarters, combine with liqueur in a bowl and allow to stand for half an hour. Whip cream till it forms soft peaks.
- Dry roast almonds and cut into thin slivers. Mix vanilla custard powder with half a cup of cold milk, mix till smooth and keep aside. Heat remaining milk with sugar and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the cold custard milk and cook on low heat stirring continuously till thick and creamy. Remove from heat, cool lightly and refrigerate to chill.
- Layer peaches, icecream and custard into four individual glasses, top with whipped cream, sprinkle almond slivers and serve immediately.
