Ingredients list for Mozzarella Panini - SK Khazana

  • 12-16 Fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1 Panini bread
  • as required Butter
  • 2 Large tomatoes sliced into roundels
  • 2 teaspoons Pickled jalapenos finely chopped
  • 5-6 Fresh basil leaves hand torn
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed

Method

  1. Cut panini into 3 pieces and halve each piece horizontally.
  2. Spread some butter on each half. Arrange 6 tomato slices on each base half, sprinkle some jalapenos, some basil leaves, salt and crushed peppercorns on top.
  3. Slice mozzarella balls into roundels, arrange them on each base half and cover with top halves.
  4. Heat a sandwich griller and brush with some butter. Place the sandwiches in it and grill till grill marks appear on both sides.
  5. Serve hot.
