Who said you can’t bake a delicious cake without eggs and in a microwave? This recipe gives you a light and delicious chocolate sponge cake in less than 15 minutes. A simple microwave cake made eggless – but full of taste. This basic cake recipe can be used to make a number of sinful desserts.

Ingredients for Microwave Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe

  • Dark chocolate grated 100 grams

  • Refined flour 1 1/3 cups

  • Butter cubed 200 grams + for greasing

  • Baking powder 2 teaspoons

  • Powdered sugar 1 cup + 2 tablespoons

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Milk 3/4 cup

  • Walnut kernels chopped 1/2 cup

Method

Step 1

Grease an eight-inch round microwave dish. Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave bowl for one minute on Microwave HIGH (100%).

Step 2

In another bowl sift flour and baking powder. Mix the melted chocolate and butter well. Add powdered sugar, vanilla essence and mix.

Step 3

Add the flour and mix. Correct the consistency by adding milk. Add walnut kernels and mix gently.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture into the prepared microwave dish. Cook for seven minutes on Microwave HIGH (100%) Allow standing time of five minutes.

Step 5

Cool, slice and serve.
