Ingredients for Melting Moments Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1½ cups

  • Butter 1 cup

  • Icing sugar 60 grams

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 40 grams

  • Salt a pinch

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Corn flakes 1 cup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with a silicon mat.

Step 2

Take butter in a bowl. Add icing sugar and mix well. Sieve together flour, cornflour and salt into the bowl and fold in well. Add vanilla essence and fold in well.

Step 3

Transfer cornflakes into a plastic zip-lock bag, seal and crush with a rolling pin. Spread on a plate.

Step 4

Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls.

Step 5

Coat each ball with crushed cornflakes and arrange them on the lined baking tray.

Step 6

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
