Ingredients list for Matka Kulfi - SK Khazana

  • 1 litres Milk
  • 1/4 cup Castor sugar
  • 3/4 cup Khoya / mawa
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon Pistachios blanched and finely chopped

Method

  1. Pour milk into a deep non-stick pan and bring it to a boil. Further simmer till reduced to ⅓ its volume.
  2. Remove from heat, add castor sugar, khoya and cardamom powder and mix till khoya melts. Add pistachios and mix well.
  3. Fill the mixture into earthen pots (kulhads/matkas) and set aside to cool down to room temperature. Then keep them in the freezer to set.
  4. Serve immediately.
