By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Milk, Castor sugar Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 4-5 hour Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Matka Kulfi - SK Khazana 1 litres Milk 1/4 cup Castor sugar 3/4 cup Khoya / mawa 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 1 tablespoon Pistachios blanched and finely chopped Method Pour milk into a deep non-stick pan and bring it to a boil. Further simmer till reduced to ⅓ its volume. Remove from heat, add castor sugar, khoya and cardamom powder and mix till khoya melts. Add pistachios and mix well. Fill the mixture into earthen pots (kulhads/matkas) and set aside to cool down to room temperature. Then keep them in the freezer to set.
