Ingredients
- 4-5 medium potatoes, peeled
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- Fresh parsley sprig for garnish
Method
- Boil sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add salt. Cut potatoes into cubes, add and cook till potatoes become soft. Mash and strain into another non-stick pan.
- Place this pan on heat, add milk and mix well till smooth. Add butter, nutmeg powder and parsley and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with parsley sprig and serve hot.
