Ingredients for Marzipan Recipe

  • Almond powder 2 cups

  • Icing sugar 1 cup

  • Powdered sugar 1/2 cup

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Egg beaten 1/2

  • Red, green and orange food colours 1 drop eac


Step 1

Take almond powder in a bowl. Sift together icing sugar and powdered sugar into the bowl, add lemon juice and egg, mix well with your hand and knead into a soft dough.

Step 2

Divide the dough into 3 equal portions and place each portion in a different bowl. Add a drop of red colour to one bowl, a drop of green to the 2nd bowl and a drop of orange to the 3rd bowl and knead once again.

Step 3

Stuff some small portions of the coloured dough in different combination into moulds.

Step 4

Demould and place them on a serving plate and serve or store in an airtight container and use as required.
