Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Leftover Roti Laddoo - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Leftover rotis 4

  • Ghee 1 teaspoon

  • Milk 1/4 cup

  • Jaggery grarted 3/4 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Tear the rotis and put in a grinder jar and grind to a fine powder.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add milk and jaggery. Cook on low heat till the jaggery melts.

Step 3

Add green cardamom powder and blended powder. Mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Switch off heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 4

While the mixture is still warm, divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into medium sized laddoos.

Step 5

Serve immediately.
