Ingredients for Khuskhus Kheer Recipe

  • Poppy Seeds soaked 3-4 hours 1/2 cup

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Sugar 1/3 cup

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Almonds slivered 3-4

  • Pistachios slivered 3-4

Method

Step 1

Drain the water from the soaked poppy seeds and grind to a smooth paste.

Step 2

Heat a kadai. Add milk along with the ground paste and cook stirring continuously. When the mixture comes to a boil, add sugar and green cardamom powder allow it to cook until completely done.

Step 3

Garnish with almonds and pistachios and serve hot.
