Ingredients list for Khuskhus Kheer
- 1/2 cup Poppy Seeds soaked 3-4 hours
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 3-4 Almonds slivered
- 3-4 Pistachios slivered
Method
- Drain the water from the soaked poppy seeds and grind to a smooth paste.
- Heat a kadai. Add milk along with the ground paste and cook stirring continuously. When the mixture comes to a boil, add sugar and green cardamom powder allow it to cook until completely done.
- Garnish with almonds and pistachios and serve hot.
