Ingredients for Khire Ke Pakore Recipe

  • Cucumbers sliced thinly 2 large size

  • Water chestnut 1 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Black salt (kala namak) 2 teaspoons

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Oil to deep fry

Method

Step 1

Wash and wipe dry cucumbers. Halve them vertically and further cut into thin slices.

Step 2

Mix together water chestnut flour, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black salt and chopped green chillies.

Step 3

Add sufficient water to make a thick batter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, dip the cucumber slices into the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
