Ingredients list for Kheer With Fresh Kiwi
- 6 medium Kiwi, peeled & finely chopped
- 1 cup Rice
- 6 cups Milk
- 2/3 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 12 Green cardamoms, deseeded
- 1/4 cup Almonds, sliced
- 2/3 cup Fresh cream
Method
- Wash the rice. Boil three cups water, add rice and cook uncovered for five minutes.
- Heat milk, sugar, cinnamon powder in a non stick pan. Once a boil comes, add rice and stir well.
- Simmer and cook for twenty to thirty minutes.
- Remove from heat and add kiwi, cardamom seeds and half the almonds.Add cream and mix well.
- Serve garnished with remaining almond slices.
