Ingredients list for Kesari Phirni

  • 50 grams Basmati rice soaked
  • strands Saffron a few
  • 8-10 Pistachios chopped
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • a few drops Rose water

Method

  1. Bring the milk to a boil in a deep pan.
  2. Lower the heat and let it simmer till it reduces a little. Grind the soaked rice to a coarse paste.
  3. Add a little milk to it and mix to make it a little thinner.
